The number one misconception about Food Storage is...
Recent reports show that unemployment rates have hit a 14 year high and are on the rise. "Employers slashed jobs from one end of the economy to the other in October, pushing the unemployment rate to 6.5%. That's the highest level in more than 14 years, and makes a deep recession a virtual certainty." "Employers shed 240,000 jobs in October, and the toll in September was far worse than previously reported -- 284,000, up from an initial reading of 159,000." "The economy must normally create about 100,000 jobs a month just to keep pace with population growth. So far this year, the economy has shrunk by nearly 1.2 million jobs, the Labor Department said." "Jared Bernstein, a labor economist with the Economic Policy Institute, noted that job losses were a lagging' phenomenon. That is, unemployment tends to peak well after the economic shocks that cause it, and takes longer to abate even after the economy recovers. "He noted that the lag had lengthened in recent business cycles, with it taking roughly two years after a recession was over for the economy to regain the lost jobs." (http://www.latimes.com/news/printedition/front/la-fi-jobs8-2008nov08,0,7272359.story) So, if predictions are true and often times they are, many more americans will lose their job before our economy "turns around." No one know who it will hit or when it will hit so the need to be prepared is ever important. How can food storage help me if I've lost my job? When someone loses their job, obviously money is tight. Wouldn't it be nice if you had a reserve of food to help you get through financially until you find another job? That's what having a supply of food storage can do for you. As we mentioned previously, we have received countless emails from people who have unexpectedly lost their job and had to rely on their food storage for the sustanance. Why wait until its too late and you don't have the money? We'll tell you why, because, like most people, we tell ourselves, "it will never happen to me". Well many americans also said that the Housing Market would never crash and look! It's always a good rule to be prepared because none of us know what will happen in these uncertain economic times. Our recommendations for preparing for your family Security & Piece of Mind...
I never thought that I would need food storage. I had a great job and had everything that I needed and wanted. But my wife insisted that we have food storage and so I went along with her thinking that it was foolish. Well, I lost my job 9 months ago and it hit us hard. All I can say is that I am glad that my wife had a food storage supply. It saved our family during those hard times. Thanks YourFoodStorage.com for your wonderful food storage products.
To be completely honest, I hope I never have to use my Food Storage, BUT I don't want to take that chance. I've always been taught that it's better to be safe than sorry. I am grateful for the help that Tim at YourFoodStorage.com provided. We weren't sure what we needed and he helped us choose what was right for our family, and didn't try to sell us more than we needed. Thanks. |
